Good Jobs Challenge at BSC

Training today鈥檚 workforce for tomorrow鈥檚 opportunities

探花app is proud to partner with the Good Jobs Challenge* (GJC) to strengthen our regional workforce and connect individuals in North Dakota and Minnesota with good-paying, in-demand careers by October 2026.

Through this partnership, you may qualify for up to $5,000 in grant funding to assist with tuition, fees and wraparound support services in select programs.

*This award is provided through the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber Foundation’s Ignite Initiative Good Job Challenge award through the U.S. Economic Development Administration.

How It Works

  • Funding: Up to $5,000 per participant (applied directly to tuition, fees, or wraparound services). It is distributed on a first-come basis. Limited funds available.
     
  • Eligibility:
    • The grant is offered to all students who have a permanent address in North Dakota or in the following Minnesota Counties: Kittson, Roseau, Lake of the Woods, Marshall, Beltrami, Pennington, Red Lake, Polk, Clearwater, Norman, Mahnomen, Clay, Becker, Hubbard, Cass, Wilkin, Otter Tail, Wadena, Crow Wing, Traverse, Grant, Douglas, Todd, Morrison, Stevens, Pope, Hennepin
    • Open to all individuals, regardless of demographics or background.
       
  • Timeline: Secure Good Jobs by September 30, 2026, in the Advanced Manufacturing, Cybersecurity/Information Technology and Precision Agriculture/Food industries

Q: Who is eligible to apply?
A: You must have a permanent address in North Dakota (any county) or in select counties in northwest Minnesota. This opportunity is open to all individuals, regardless of background or demographics.
Q: How do I apply?
A: Start by filling out the online interest form .
Q: What if I need extra support while enrolled?
A: Scholarships may also cover wraparound services, which can include tutoring, advising, supplies, or other resources to help you succeed.
 
Q: How much funding can I receive?
A: Eligible participants can receive up to $5,000. This funding can be applied toward tuition, fees, and wraparound support services (such as textbooks, supplies, or other student needs).
Q: Do I need to be a new student to qualify?
A: No. Both new students and re-enrolling students are eligible to receive funding as long as they can complete their program by September 30, 2026.
